¿Es ‘entremeter’ lo mismo que ‘entrometer’? ¿Es correcto ‘alma máter’?

Hoy os dejamos dos refrescos lingüísticos muy interesantes:

1.- Entremeter, en su forma pronominal –entremeterse- es sinónimo de entrometer en su forma pronominal –entrometerse-. El que se entromete es un entrometido; el que se entremeten es un entremetido. Sin embargo, entremeter, en su forma transitiva, significa meter algo entre otras cosas. Así que entremetido, en este uso, significa lo que está metido entre varias cosas.

2.- No es correcto ‘el alma máter’, ni ‘la alma máter’; sino ‘la alma mater’: artículo determinado en femenino; alma mater en cursiva por ser una expresión en otro idioma; y mater sin tilde por esa misma razón. Ea.
